His father, Jamar McNaughton Sr, is known professionally as "Chronicle" nurtured his son's musical gifts.
At the young age of eleven, Chronixx recorded Gospel music, then provided harmony vocals for other reggae artists. This work help him to grow confident in his musical skills, learn reggae musical history, perfecting his craft that lead him to build riddims and begin producing music for other musicians.

Chronixx Jamaican reggae artist musical career is now in full flight with appearances on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performing in a concert in Central Park that had over five thousand people in attendance, in festivals around the world and also wining awards.
